Exmouth family photography: the Ireland family on the beach
I had such a brilliant Exmouth family photography session with the Ireland family recently, hanging out on the beach and creating some lovely family images for them. Steph and Greg particularly wanted to celebrate Teddy walking, and create a set of photographs that captured the way they love spending time together. They have the most fantastic camper van. They told me how much they love hanging out in it, so we wanted to include this in the shoot. Ted loves the beach, and so we ended up having a really lovely time at Exmouth in Devon. We played down by the sea, dodged some quite spectacular showers and splashed in the waves. Then we warmed up with a hot chocolate in the van to finish.
Exmouth is a gorgeous location for a family photography session. The beach is big and has so much space to explore. When the tide is low, you can also walk around the headland at Orcombe Point and explore here. There are lots of areas away from the beach as well, with a nature reserve and more. It’s ideal for family photography.
However, we didn’t need anything more than the beach for this fab session. I think these images are just so lovely. A fun time exploring and playing, and some really special family memories photographed.
