What is an extended family photography session and how does it work?
An extended family photography session is the perfect way to celebrate your whole family. A chance to create images with the grandparents, adult siblings and their children. A relaxed get together, where we can capture photographs of the entire family together, as well as some smaller group photos of each individual family. It’s usually really lovely to include some other variations to suit your family. This might be grandparents with their grandchildren, sibling groups, or all the cousins together. I’ll always have a chat with you before your session to tailor things to suit your family. Group photos will be relaxed and natural, and we’ll have fun creating them!
If you are all on holiday together in the South West, then this can often be a really lovely time to arrange a session. As well as some wonderful holiday memories, you can also go home with some beautiful photos of the whole family together. We could head to the beach, or maybe you have a really lovely holiday property with a beautiful garden. If you don’t know the area, then I’m very happy to suggest places for our session.
Or perhaps you are thinking about giving a photography session as a gift. This is such a popular present for grandparents – for a big birthday, or anniversary. A really wonderful chance to celebrate their growing family and capture some images of everyone together. Gift vouchers can be redeemed to suit the recipient’s plans over the next 18 months, so there is plenty of time to plan your shoot.
How much does a session cost?
The extended family session costs £195, which includes a print of your favourite image. Digital files are not included in this fee, but can be purchased if you would like to, after the session. Once your photos are edited and ready, you’ll have an online gallery that you can browse through at home. Then you can select images to buy as prints and/or digital files. All the pricing for this is available in my online brochure, which you can access by completing my contact form here.
