A spring wedding at River Cottage: congratulations Jen & Alex

Jenny and Alex weren’t planning to have a wedding photographer, but as they got closer to their wedding day, they started to wonder if they might regret this. So they came to me fairly late in the process, only looking for a few hours coverage for their wedding at River Cottage, to photograph their ceremony, some family groups, and to create some portraits of them both together. I’m so very pleased that they did! Even though I was only with them for a short time, I felt so hugely welcomed into their celebration, and I loved meeting their wonderful family and friends. And it was such a wonderful opportunity to photograph them, with the March winds giving it their very best effort. Jen was wearing her Mum’s original 1980s veil, which couldn’t have been more perfect for the weather! It was a real joy of an afternoon, and I loved spending it with them. Here is a little preview of their images.
