A bride and groom and family walking across a beach together

Wedding celebrations on a Cornwall beach: congratulations Julie & Simon!

This is just a tiny peek at Julie and Simon, just married and celebrating on the beach in Cornwall with their family. They had a wonderful, intimate ceremony in St Austell, with just a handful of close friends and family there. Then they headed to nearby Par Sands to spend a bit of time with their immediate family, and enjoy the first bit of ‘just married’ time together. It was the most wonderful afternoon, and just a huge joy to share it with them.

I’d love to show you more photos, but I’m now into the busiest period of this year, so this will have to do for now. My preview posts are all going to be a lot shorter than usual over the next few weeks. I have more weddings coming up this month than I’ve carried out for the whole year so far. Starting today with this particularly special Cornwall beach wedding celebration has put a rather large smile on my face! Is there anything better than sand between your toes and the sound of waves lapping? I loved photographing Julie and Simon with their whole family together on the beach after the wedding. And I can’t wait to edit the rest of the photos for them all. For now, here is just a tiny preview.

The South West is filled with some really beautiful places to get married, especially for beach weddings. You might like to have a look at some other Devon and Cornwall beach weddings on my blog:
