Wow factor wedding venue: Natalie & Tim’s celebrations at Neadon Barn
If you are looking for a real wow factor wedding barn, then I think you’ll enjoy looking through Natalie and Tim’s celebrations. They took place at Neadon Barn, on Dartmoor, and it really is the most breathtaking wedding venue. The Dartmoor setting is just beautiful, with craggy hills and stunning views all around. It’s not far from Exeter, but you really do feel in the middle of nowhere.
The house and gardens are beautiful, and the team at Neadon are just lovely. But the real wow element comes from the incredible barn. It’s properly breathtaking. I love the dark interior, with slivers of light coming through the windows and hitting the tables in just the right places. Hundreds of candles lit throughout the barn turn it into a magical wedding setting. The whole barn is set up like a work of art, and it really is one of the most beautiful wedding venues I know.
So, take a look at Natalie and Tim’s beautiful wedding at Neadon last autumn. The day was such a delight to photograph. From Natalie and family getting ready in the lovely farmhouse, to the sweet ceremony at Lustleigh church, with half the village lining the lanes to watch their exit. Then we explored a bit of Dartmoor in that amazing vintage car, met a curious cow, and had a gorgeous drinks reception in the gardens overlooking the Devon views. Natalie and Tim then led their guests up the lane to the incredible barn. It was wonderful to watch people’s reactions, getting the full wow factor experience as they entered the barn. Then to capture all the celebrations in candlelight around the long tables as the afternoon turned into evening.
Then the end of the barn was completely transformed with a stunning light display from Andy at Your Big Event. I loved photographing Natalie and Tim’s evening party, with some seriously energetic dance floor action going on! It really was the perfect end to a really wonderful wedding celebration, in the most incredible of venues.

Neadon Barn wedding photography
Neadon Farm weddings are really special. They only carry out a few each year, and the aesthetics are always off the scale. The stunning flowers and candles in the barn, with the light falling in through the small windows. It’s an absolute dream for a wedding photographer! Then you also have the Dartmoor hills all around. The tiny, winding lanes that you have to travel down to get there. A real sense of being tucked away somewhere really unique. It’s a really special place, and I was so delighted to return there. If you are planning a Neadon Farm wedding then I would absolutely love to hear from you – do get in touch!
