Benny & Liam’s wedding celebration in South Hams
I had the most wonderful time yesterday, photographing Benny & Liam’s stunning wedding celebration in South Hams. They actually had their ceremony in July last year, but weren’t able to celebrate properly with all their friends and family at the time. Although not everyone could be there even now (in particular, Liam’s Australian family), the boys managed to pull off the most magnificent wedding celebration!
Everything took place at Benny’s parents’ house, and the gardens there created the most beautiful backdrop for the party. The marquee itself was adorned with wonderful floral arrangements and delicate hanging decorations. It was all just so gorgeous to photograph. Guests arrived for drinks on the patio and front lawn, followed by an absolutely delicious extended meal of various sharing platters from the wonderful Wild Artichokes. I always really love the relaxed time as the meal extends into evening, and guests relax into their surroundings, and it was so lovely to chat to lots of different family and friends while I was taking photos.
The dance floor was just wonderful. In fact, everyone was so keen to dance, that when the band did their sound check, the entire floor was instantly packed with enthusiastic dancers, which made me laugh. I absolutely loved meeting Benny and Liam, and all the wonderful family and friends that were there with them yesterday. It was a complete joy to photograph, and I hope you enjoy looking through these images!
