Colourful Devon marquee wedding: Helen & Sheppy get married in Noss Mayo
South Devon has so many really gorgeous spots, but Noss Mayo has to be up there with the best of them. One of the most beautiful villages, with Newton Ferrers on the other side of the water, and the prettiest location on an estuary of the River Yeam. Helen and Sheppy’s wedding took place in the church at Noss Mayo, just a short (and excited!) walk up the pathway from her parents’ house. While Helen was getting ready there, Sheppy was on the other side of the river, having a drink at their local, and I loved how we could see the boys in the distance across the water. And walking to your local church to get married is a pretty cool way to do things.
Their reception took place on family land nearby, with a ridiculously pretty marquee, decorated with the brightest coloured lanterns, matched by gorgeous bright summer florals by Caroline Hodges. Helen (and all her bridesmaids) looked particularly incredible in their gorgeous dresses made by clever Auntie Georgina! Huge thanks to Laura who was there as a second photographer with me. It was a wonderful day to photograph and I loved being there to share it with Helen and Sheppy. Here is a little peep at their day.
