Duncs & Tabby’s stylish Dartmoor woodland wedding
Well, this stylish Dartmoor wedding was a bit special! Tabby completely dazzled in an uber cool Vivienne Westwood bridal dress, and Duncs looked fabulous in a bespoke suit from Casely Hayford. All the bridesmaids wore red and pink, and the wedding guests paraded the best set of outfits ever. The entire wedding day was just so elegant. A wet and slightly wild celebration in the woodland on Dartmoor, at Tabby’s parents’ beautiful home there.
Incredibly, we got away with a ‘just dry enough’ hour for the outdoor woodland ceremony, and it really was so special. I loved photographing the wedding party picking their way down the steep steps through the woodland, with the string quartet playing in the background. Duncs and Tabby said their vows in front of a hazel arch in the woods, with a backdrop of Dartmoor stone. It was the loveliest personal ceremony, with emotional readings from family, and Tabby’s cousin Flo leading the ceremony.
The relaxed and stylish feel extended through the day. The wedding decor was really beautiful, with an array of colourful flowers scattered across long tables and views across Dartmoor from the marquee.
Their whole day was such a memorable wedding to photograph. Duncs and Tabby were just a delight to work with, and they were surrounded by such incredibly warm and lovely family and friends. The whole celebration was just so much fun – a wonderfully wild (and wet!) Dartmoor wedding.
