A Spring family photo session near Exeter
I’ve been so excited to share some more images from some of my recent family photo sessions. This one took place near Exeter, which is particularly local for me. It’s quite funny – I’m a family photographer based in Exeter, but so many of my sessions are further away. I cover all of Devon and further around the South West, but it’s really lovely to have a photo session closer to home! And this is such a beautiful location. It’s an arboretum in Newton St Cyres, free to explore, and the perfect place for a Spring session. The morning light gave us such perfect conditions for exploring and creating some family photos together.
It’s the second time I’ve photographed the lovely Miall family near Exeter. When the children were a little bit younger, we had a gorgeous photo session near Killerton. It was really wonderful to catch up with all the family again and create some new photos together. The arboretum was such a perfect location for the session. We had so much fun exploring, racing around and climbing on the fallen trees. And the Spring blossom was such a beautiful backdrop. We actually ended up delaying the session by a week so that we could catch the magnolias in full bloom, and I’m so pleased that we waited. It was absolutely stunning.
