Cadhay Manor wedding: Laura & Andrew’s beautiful Devon celebration
Laura and Andrew had the most beautiful wedding celebration at Cadhay Manor in Devon. I’m not sure I have ever seen quite so many smiles in one day, nor a couple so clearly besotted with each other – it was absolutely wonderful to capture.
Cadhay is one of my favourite wedding venues to shoot at. The beautiful grounds are always a pleasure, and I really love the allotments and greenhouses, which have such a relaxed feel to them. But it is the indoor spaces that I get really excited about! The inside of the house is gorgeous, and the Cider Press Barn has the most beautiful pockets of light, making such a fantastic setting for any part of the day, and a complete joy for photography.
Despite being pretty soggy all day long, this didn’t do a tiny thing to dampen the smiles and joy. And, in fact, Laura and Andrew were treated to the most beautiful evening when the rain finally did clear away, so it was a real pleasure to get out and enjoy the light at the end of the day. Looking back through the images now, I still feel that incredible connection between the two of them – it really does just shine through. It was a brilliant day to photograph and a pleasure to share some of the images here. Laura and Andrew, thanks again – it was wonderful!
