River Cottage wedding: Natalie & Aidan’s relaxed ceremony in the kitchen garden

I loved Natalie and Aidan’s laid back River Cottage wedding day! They had just a handful of guests, mainly immediate family and a few close friends, and they celebrated in the loveliest style. After an intimate ceremony outside the farmhouse, everyone enjoyed a relaxed afternoon of fun and games in the kitchen garden, followed by the most wonderful meal cooked for them in the farmhouse kitchen.

River Cottage is always one of my favourite venues to visit – weddings there always have such a great feel to them. With such an emphasis on locally sourced food (mostly from the farm itself) which is always really outstanding quality, and the most beautiful surroundings in which to enjoy everything, everyone always seems to have just the best time there – they always feel like weddings where I would have loved to have been a guest! However, being the photographer there is possibly one step better, as it is always completely brilliant to photograph people when they are having such a good time.

Natalie and Aidan’s wedding day stood out so much for me, as it was not only really gorgeous to capture, but it was utterly filled with smiles and laughter. I loved sharing the afternoon with everyone and it is a real pleasure to share some of the images here on the blog. I hope you enjoy them!
