Devon newborn photo session: the Daniels family

I loved this newborn photo session with this family at home in Devon. I photographed Craig and Sarah’s older son Reuben when he was a baby, so it was particularly special to return for a session with Jacob at the same age. It’s always really wonderful to catch up with families I have photographed before. I love creating images of the next steps in their lives together.

A newborn photo session at home is such a wonderful thing to have. I think that these first few weeks with your new baby tend to pass in a bit of a blur. This makes it particularly special to have photographs documenting a little of it. Before you know it, your newborn baby will be several weeks old, then months, and can never feel like the right time to book a photography session. This is why I always recommend getting in touch before your baby arrives. I can chat through the process with you, answer any queries and get your session all set up ready. Once your baby is born, I just ask you to get in touch and pick a date that works. It’s all incredibly straightforward and so worth doing.
