A relaxed and fun wedding with children at River Cottage
Alongside weddings, I also photograph families, and I always love working with kids. So give me a wedding with children and I am in my element! Nic and James had the most wonderfully relaxed wedding at River Cottage last weekend, with a huge gang of children having the best time ever! It was all so much fun to share with them, and I loved photographing the children throughout the day. Amongst other things, the children (and adults!) enjoyed; chasing each other around the kitchen garden; gathering up rose petals to throw as they ‘married William’; playing non-stop giant jenga in the courtyard; saying hello to the pigs; flying planes; toasting marshmallows and making s’mores; and performing live guitar on a tennis racket. It was just a complete joy of a day.
And, meanwhile, Nic and James finally got married! I’ve got to know them so well over the past couple of years, as their wedding was originally planned for 2020. I photographed them on holiday as a family instead that year and we had the best fun on the beach. I was absolutely delighted to finally photograph their wedding day for them. Despite a bit of on/off rain, it was such a relaxed and fun celebration, and I think this really shines through in the photographs. Thanks so much to Nic and James and family for having me at their fabulous wedding day! It was the biggest pleasure 🙂
