Saunton Sands family photography

I recently had the pleasure of capturing this family photography session at Saunton Sands in Devon. The session took place in the morning, which turned out to be a great choice. It felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves at times, which meant everyone could properly relax and enjoy themselves. We had such a fun time, with the family exploring the beach, splashing through the sea, and chasing each other over the sands. 

The wide, flat sands in North Devon are ideal for creating some really beautiful reflections. On top of this, the cloudy morning light was just gorgeous, giving a really lovely atmosphere and creating a perfect backdrop. I loved creating some relaxed photographs of this family having fun together, connecting as a family and enjoying their holiday in North Devon. 

Being on holiday is an ideal time to think about having a family photography session. Saunton Sands, located in North Devon, is such a great spot for a family photo shoot. With its three miles of golden sands, this beautiful beach provides a stunning backdrop and absolutely loads of space. The beach is dog-friendly all year round and there is a large car park with lots of facilities. The beach also has wonderful dunes at the top, which gives us an alternative backdrop for your photographs. Saunton Sands is one of my favourite locations for family photography.
