Exeter family photography: the Conner family at home
It was such a pleasure to spend a weekend morning with the Connor family in Exeter. I love photographing families at home. There is something really special about having photographs of your family, in your own rooms, with your familiar surroundings. That normal everyday time that you spend in your home is so very wonderful, and will pass very quickly as the children grow and time moves on. I find that it creates a really relaxed set up for a family photography session anyway, as children feel comfortable in their own space. It’s always really lovely to see them playing with their toys, in their own rooms, and running about their own house as they normally would.
I photographed Clare and Nick’s Exeter wedding several years back, then captured Darcey as a newborn in 2014. So it was really special for me to return to them all now as a family of four, with baby Esmee now part of the team! Watching them grow into this wonderful family has been incredibly special over the years. It was a real pleasure to hang out with them all on a lazy Sunday morning, and photograph an update of their family life. Here are just a few of my favourite images from this Exeter family photography session.
Booking your own family photography session
If you would like to find out more about organising a photography session for your own family, then please do get in touch! You can read more about my family photography here, or just get in touch via email and I can send you some more information. Family sessions can take place in your own home, or we can go out to a location that you love – it’s entirely up to you. I’m based in Exeter, but shoot all over the South West. Let’s have a chat about what would suit your family best!
